I used to have my own shop in downtown Boston on Boylston Street. Very proud of that. It was a small, but talented crew. We always produced great work. We made some big account wins, and had some tragic account losses.

I left BayBank to join as full partner with ReevesDrake. My partners were Dan Reeves, one of the great creative talents I've ever wokred with, and my brother, Bill Drake, who now consults for clients throughout New Engalnd

We had accounts like BankNorth, working with their brilliant CMO, Brian Wood, and Gold's Gym out of Venice, CA. We did great work and had a lot of fun.
Ray Welch used to lease an office in our space. He was a great mentor. And an even better friend.

Eventually, we sold to McDougal Associates who were acquired by Bozell to get at the emerging Tyco account. They became Bozell/Kamstra and needed a boost in talent  to meet their NY standards, and to serve Tyco International.

We sold ReevesDrake to Bozell for some cash, and a new adventure. On to
 Bozell/Kamstra, my next post.

My partners Dan Reeves and Bill Drake.
